Drag icon RuPaul is set to headline a brand-new action-comedy feature slated for theatrical release in 2026. This will mark the first-ever big-screen movie from the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe. The film is directed by Adam Shankman and produced by World of Wonder, with distribution by Bleecker Street.
Story & Characters
The plot centers on best friends Tess and DeeDee, train stewardesses who transition from the mundane Stank Rail to the glamorous Glamazonian Express. When a catastrophic event—“Stormganza”—threatens to derail the train and send it crashing into Los Angeles, they must team up with first-class attendants and President Judy Gagwell (played by RuPaul) to save the day in a wild, campy caper.
